Dr. Jamesetta Ferguson

The Reverend Dr. Jamesetta Ferguson serves as Chair of the Landbank Board and has been the Senior Pastor of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ (UCC) in Louisville since 2007. A champion of community empowerment and spiritual guidance, she is also committed to mentoring the next generation of UCC clergy.
In 2011, Dr. Ferguson founded the MOLO Village Community Development Corporation (CDC), which recently opened a 30,000-square-foot mixed-use building in the Russell neighborhood. This milestone project provides essential services and fosters economic growth in west Louisville, reflecting her vision for holistic community revitalization.
Dr. Ferguson holds multiple academic degrees, including a Doctor of Ministry, and serves as an adjunct professor at Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. She is widely recognized for her leadership, serving on numerous boards and receiving many awards honoring her contributions to faith and community.
Happily married to Deacon Levie Ferguson, she treasures her family and the joy of raising two children and four grandchildren.

Elaine Duncan

Elaine Duncan is a lifelong community advocate and retired Metro Government employee who now serves on the Landbank Board. A proud resident of the Russell neighborhood, she became a Landbank property recipient in 2008—an experience that deepened her commitment to revitalizing her community.
Elaine’s leadership is evident through her active involvement with the Russell Neighborhood Association and RPOP: Russell—A Place of Promise, where she champions equitable development and housing stability for current and future residents. She brings a wealth of professional experience, lived perspective, and a deep understanding of community needs to her service on the board.
Guided by her steadfast belief in the power of place and belonging, Elaine is known for her resilience and forward-thinking mindset. She often draws inspiration from her favorite quote, “Next,” a reminder to keep moving forward. Her vision continues to inspire progress, hope, and stronger futures for the Russell community.

Amanda Satterly
Amanda Satterly serves as the Specialist of Fiscal Operations for Jefferson County Public Schools, where she has dedicated the past nine years to a variety of roles, always seeking opportunities to learn and grow. A proud graduate of Sullivan University, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2007, followed by her Master of Business Administration in 2013. Amanda is a strong believer in the power of communication and teamwork, values she applies both professionally and personally. A Louisville native, she enjoys supporting small local businesses and investing in her community. Outside of work, she treasures time with her family, loves reading, and has recently discovered a joy for baking.

Dana serves as a Real Estate Coordinator, supporting the purchase of Landbank vacant and abandoned properties. In this role, Dana reviews applicant submissions, conducts on-site inspections, evaluates property conditions, and prepares visual presentations for board approval. She also assists with updating documents and maintaining web content to ensure program information remains accurate and accessible to the community.
